An extraordinary lecture-performance on self-empowerment and civic courage
A picture is worth a thousand words. A picture can change the world. It can challenge you – to think and to act. Come and seek inspiration with us! Together in the here and now.
The BIG Picture is a playful performance of a self-curated World Expo on empathy, empowerment and admiration for the infinite nature of human ingenuity – alluring, humorous, utopic and confronting.
Selection committee statement excerpt:
“We are here; here is now; and here and now we can change the world. This performance postulates nothing less as it invites us to take a look ‘behind the picture’. Those who may be inclined to wrinkle their brows with scepticism will be charmed by the uninhibited sincerity with which the actors lead us through a gallery of stories both big and small.”
Fetter Fisch – Performance I Theater from Münster develops experimental theatre productions – innovative, physically oriented performances full of passion and power whose aesthetic concepts dare to take risks and seek interaction with the audience.
