two audience juries

Children’s jury

Seven children between the ages of 8 and 12 will plunge into the festival activities, watch productions, debate hot topics and ultimately award the children's jury prize (worth 2,000 euros) to a select children’s theatre production! And along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to celebrate, chat and exchange ideas with other festival visitors.

As theatre visits are not possible at the moment, the children’s jury will prepare by watching video recordings of the productions and exchanging views on what they have seen via Zoom. Excitement is mounting, as is the longing for analogue theatre experiences, and the children look forward to breathing in the theatre and festival air in August.

Participants: Lena Becker, Liam Becker, Tilda Börjesson, Levi Kolonko, Larissa Kuhlmann, Amalia Lieb, Thea Sonnleithner

Teen jury

This year, six participants aged 13 to 17 have come together at the festival, united by their desire to experience different theatrical productions, discuss their impressions and reach a common assessment.

For the teen jury, the lead-in to the festival has been plagued by delays and the cancellation of several performances due to corona. The group members have rarely been able to meet in real life and their exchange on and viewing of productions has been reduced to digital formats.

The teens are now all the more excited for some analogue Westwind experiences and look forward to handing over their prize money of 2,000 euros to a production of their choosing at the end of the festival.

Participants: Taylan Cagri, Michael Franzmann, Marc Lanssen, Clara Lühmann, Kian Najarajampour and Simon Zerzawy
